About Me

My creative journey began in Lydbrook, in the heart of the Forest of Dean. Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of lush woodlands and rolling hills, my work is deeply inspired by the ever-changing landscapes and quiet tranquillity of my childhood home. From a young age I was inspired by my Mum, a creative through-and-through with a knack to turn her hand to any artist project, as well as my Grandad’s acrylic landscapes which were dotted about the house.

After feeling creatively confined during GCSE Art, I avoided painting for several years. I completed my BA in Music, however, after finishing my degree, I found myself in a physically demanding job that left little room for creative expression. It was during this time that I reached a tipping point — the exhaustion and lack of inspiration weighed heavily on me, and I realized I could no longer ignore my artistic passions. I made the decision to resign from my job and pursue painting and digital art, seeking to reconnect with the creativity I had once pushed aside.

Visiting my Fiancee’s home county of Cornwall amplified my connection to the sea, and the landscape surrounding it. Now based in Westbury, Wiltshire, I aim to channel my connection to nature into my art, specialising in vibrant acrylic landscapes and dynamic digital creations. Whether working on a canvas or a screen, my pieces invite viewers to explore the raw beauty of the natural world, captured through a contemporary lens.
